What is called E-Ball Technology?

E Ball Technology is a sphere shaped computer concept and it is the smallest design among all the desktops and laptops ever made. And it’s not going to look like a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant). It is truly a PC with all the components like mouse, keyboard, mother board, DVD, hard drive, modem, LAN slot, wan slot and normal screen.

 

Introduction:

Designer Apostol Tnokovski designed and developed this computer. He changed the basic concept of square and rectangular shape with a spherical one. He chose the design because it is the best design of the nature.

Size of the E-ball:

  • 6 inch diameter sphere.
  • 120 * 120 mm motherboard.
  • 160 mm round sphere.

Components of E-ball:

  1. A holographic display – with you can experience 3D display technology.
  2. Optical Mouse – LED concept used to overcome the outdated mouse ball concept.
  3. LCD Projector – Liquid Crystal Display for projecting videos.
  4. HD DVD Recorder – It act as a VCR and records onto a DVD disc.
  5. Paper sheet holder – This used to hold the paper in the paper holder and it acts as a monitor of the E-Ball computer.
  6. Laser Keyboard – It is not a physical keyboard and it interpreted by lasers.
  7. 50 Watt speakers – It is a low fidelity built-in speaker which often has a low power internal amplifier.

Features of E-ball:

  1. 50-600 Gigabytes of Hard Disk Drive – Used to retrieve digital information through rotating disk smeared with magnetic tape.
  2. 5 Gigabytes of RAM – It can accessed randomly and it is a dominant type of memory.
  3. LAN and WLAN card and a Web cam – A webcam is extensively connected by a USB cable.
  4. Modem port – Use this port to connect E-Ball to the internet connection.
  5. Dual core processor – It consist of two imperforate execution cores and it process its own cache.
  6. S-video port – The separate video is an analog video transmission at 480i or 576i resolution.
  7. Power port – DVD players and other electronic devices area plugged in the power ports.
  8. Graphic card – It is an hardware of the computer used to render and display the images of the system
  9. Sound card – It helps the user to hear sounds either through the speaker or headphones.

How the E Ball Technology works?

Opening:

E Ball Technology can started by pressing the power button for 5 sec. Once you start the button the projection will pop up. The E ball can placed on the two stands while working. To open the E ball you have to press and hold the two buttons on its side for a moment.

Mouse and display:

Next thing is you have to connect the optical mouse. For that after opening the e ball you have to press the button to detect the optical mouse. And it doesn’t have any external display unit. So a projector will popped up from the E Ball Technology.

E ball screen:

You have to use the navigation button to adjust the screen on the wall. And having no wall available, you can use the paper sheet as a wall. The paper holder attached with the E Ball Technology hold the paper for you.

E ball keyboard:

And you can use it as a projector. Keyboard of the E ball is not physical. It is just a virtual keyboard. When you ON the computer, the IR sensor will produce the virtual keyboard. It can detect the movement of the finger on the virtual keyboard and produces the result.

E Ball Technology virtual keyboard:

Virtual keyboard is a projection keyboard allows you to enter character. The device detects the finger movements and accurately measures the finger stroke. You can connect it with your computer. So making it more convenient than the laptop. It takes less space than the conventional keyboard. And it can used with desktop, laptop and handheld computer. It consists of 3 major parts. They are:

*Sensor module:

The intended keystroke detected by tracking the user finger location on sensor module. It serves as the eyes of the Keyboard perception technology.

*IR light source:

It is part of the EMI spectrum. Though it is invisible to human eyes but can feel the heat. IR light source is mostly invisible to the user.

*Pattern Projector

The pattern projector usually represents the image of the keyboard. It can be projected on any flat surface. It contains all keys and functions.

E Ball Technology projector:

E Ball Technology uses an LCD projector to project an image into the flat wall or screen. It basically comprised of three colors. They are Red, Green and Blue.

  1. The liquid crystal display can display images in flat screen and surface.
  2. It displays images, data and video on screen.
