TNFUSRC invites Online Application for Direct Recruitment of Forest Guard & Forest Guard with Driving Licence Vacancies in Tamil Nadu Forest Department

Here candidates must note that 14th Feb 2020 is the last date to apply online Tamil Nadu Forest Guard Vacancy Application Form.

Educational Qualifications:

TN Forest Guard Jobs:

Higher Secondary Course Pass (12th pass) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Zoology or Botany as one of the subjects.

TN FG with Driving Licence Jobs:

1.Higher Secondary Course (Plus Two) Pass with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Zoology or Botany as one of the subjects.
2.A valid Driving licence issued by the competent Transport Authority.
3.A Certificate from a reputed firm or company mentioning that the candidate possesses experience in the driving of Light motor vehicles OR Heavy Motor Vehicles for not less than 03 (three) years after getting the driving licence.
4.Basic knowledge about the general mechanism of automobiles.
5.First aid certificate issued by the recognized organization in Tamil Nadu.
6.A clear eye-sight.

TAMIL NADU FOREST DEPARTMENT PAY SCALE/ SALARY:

TN Forest Guard Pay Scale: Rs. 18,200/- to Rs. 57,900/- (Level 05)

TN Forest Guard with Driving Licence Posts Pay Scale: Rs. 18,200/- to Rs. 57,900/- (Level 05)

For the Post of TN Forest Guard & FGDL, the exam fee category wise as follows:-

Rs. 150/- (Rupees One Hundred & Fifty) + applicable service charges for SC/ ST candidates.
Rs. 300/- (Rupee Three Hundred) + applicable service charges for all other category candidates.

Mode of Fee Payment: Online payment through Payment Gateway only. Offline mode of payment (Demand Draft/ Postal Order, etc.) will not be accepted.

How to apply the exam

step-1: Open the Tamil Nadu Forest Department‘s Official Website www.forests.tn.gov.in.
step-2: Now in a homepage, click on a link titled as ‘TNFUSRC Forest Guard/ Forest Guard with Driving License Recruitment Notification 2019 2020.
step-3: Select the name of Post for which you wish to apply your application.
step-4: Download the Information Brochure and read the entire details of TN Forest Recruitment without wasting time.
step-5: If you are eligible for registration, then press the Apply Online link.
step-6: Fill up your details like Full Name, Date of Birth, Communal Category, Email ID, Contact Number, Academic Qualification, Centre of Examination & other related information as per the instructions.
step-7: Upload your scanned image of the recent color passport size photograph (JPG/ JPEG format of size 20-50 KB), signature (JPG/ JPEG format of size 10-20 KB) and relevant certificates, etc.
step-8: Pay your Exam Fee by Online payment through Payment Gateway.
step-9: Ensure the information provided is correct as no modifications will be allowed after the last date of registration.
step-10: Finally, click on the ‘SUBMIT’ button available at the end of the Online Application format.
step-11: Registration Number and Password will appear on your screen after the successful registration process.
step-12: Download and take print out of your application just for future reference.

ABOUT PROCEDURE OF SELECTION:

Tamil Nadu Forest Uniformed Services Recruitment Committee is going to appoint the best candidates for TN Forest Guard & FGDL posts based on performance in the following process.

1.Online Examination

Written Examination
Subject Name: General knowledge
Time Duration: 03 hrs(10 to 1pm)
Total Marks: 150 Marks
BC, BCM, MBC/ DC, SC, SC(A) & ST: 30 % marks
Others: 40 % marks
Important Note: In the written examination, the question paper will be in both English and Tamil.

2.Physical Standards Test/ Verification:

Height:

Male – ST & Jungle Tribes (152cm),others (163)
Female – ST & Jungle Tribes (145cm),others (150)

Chest :

Male: Normal (79cm on Full expiration),Expansion (05cm full inspiration)

Female & Third Gender: Normal (74cm on Full expiration),Expansion (05cm full inspiration)

3.Certificate of Physical Standards:

Aspirants need to obtain a certificate containing the Height & Chest Measurement particulars from a Medical Officer (above the rank of an Assistant Surgeon) appointed by the Govt to India Medical Institution on or after the Notification dated 30th November 2019. Just with reference to the Metric System, all the measurements must be specified as per rules. As and when called by officials, aspirants need to submit the documents.

4.Endurance Test:

Male: Running – 25km,Duration – 04 hours

Female: Running – 16km,Duration – 04hours

For the Final Selection, all the eligible aspirants based on their Online Examination Marks, will be called for participating in Certificate Verification (CV), Physical Standards Verification (PSV) and Endurance Test (ET) in 1:3 ratio as per the selection process.
Aspirants must satisfy a Medical Board in Chennai related to their physical fitness as well as capacity for rough outdoor work in the TN Forest Department.
