Role: Java Developer

Skillset: Java 1.7 upwards, JEE, Struts, Hibernate, jQuery, JSP, Servlets, Soap/Restful Webservices, Spring MVC and SQL

Primarily, the candidate should have had Struts experience.

Job Location: Noida / Chennai

Experience Range: 5.5 - 8 Years

Role: Senior Software Engineer

• Work Location : Chennai/Noida

Job Role & Responsibilities

• Develop and support applications through all phases of the project life cycle, including Design, Development, Testing Support and Release Support
• Having good hands-on experience on Java 1.7 upwards, Struts, JEE, Hibernate, JQuery, JSP, Servlets, Soap/Restful WebServices, XML, Spring MVC and SQL Should definitely have worked on Struts.
• Should have worked on RAD/Eclipse and it would be an added advantage if has used Websphere Application Server
• Required to work independently with the customer and engage well with them
• Responsible for identifying technical solutions to application problem scenarios
• Work on Proof of Concepts for proposed technical solution ideas
• Good understanding of design principles and frameworks
• Develop Low level design documents, as required
• Responsible for coding, Developing test cases and unit testing
• Adhering to the schedule and scope of the project
• Ensure to follow Technology and Process standards set for the project
• Produce high quality technical deliverables for the customer
• Interact with project lead to review Technical deliverables
• Provide status updates to Project Lead / Manager

Key Deliverables

• Design and Develop Programs with high quality and agreed processes, within the planned schedule
• Deliver quality code following the Technology and Process Standards set for the project
• Research and Deliver Technical Solutions to application problem scenarios
• Deliver working Proof of Concepts for proposed technical solution ideas
• Detailed Application Analysis documents and Impact Analysis documents
• Technical Design Documents (LLD)
• Deliver reviewed Test cases with Test Results

Required for the Position

• 5.5 to 7 years of experience in Designing and Developing the applications/product using Java technology stack in Banking domain
• Should have strong expertise and experience in Java 1.7 upwards, Struts, JEE, Hibernate, JQuery, JSP, Servlets, Soap/Restful WebServices, XML, Spring MVC and SQL
• Should have worked on RAD/Eclipse and it would be an added advantage if he has used Websphere Application Server
• Should be experienced and have good knowledge in SQL and Relational Databases
• Should possess strong background of Object Oriented Programming and design using common design patterns
• Should have good insight of JEE internals (Class loading, Memory Management, Transaction Management etc.)
• Should possess excellent communication skills
• Should possess excellent de-bugging, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Should possess good client interaction skills and should be able to work independently with the client
• Should be proactive and self-initiated
