Job Description
• Manage and oversee the testing, deployment, monitoring, and operational improvement of a complex multi-service stack
• Manage and support enterprise-level business initiatives across multiple teams/disciplines Drive and enhance infrastructure-as-code projects using tools such as AWS CloudFormation, HashiCorp Terraform, Cloudify, Foreman, Pulumi, or similar tools
• Design and deploy tools to ensure data integrity and backup
• Monitor services and develop ways to improve support
• Provide on-call support under a follow-the-sun model (24/7 rotation between US & India)
• Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning
• Design, update, improve, and document operational processes
• Define, document, and enforce configuration standards
• Manage CI/CD tools with team in order to improve software delivery and systems deployments
• Enforce best practices and procedures as established by the company
• Perform day-to-day management and administration of projects
• Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on operations and support
• Brainstorm new ideas and ways to improve product delivery
• Explore new technology and automation strategies to innovate existing processes/systems
• Consult peers for feedback during all phases of the project management lifecycle
• Coordinate with all project stakeholders to ensure timely and scoped product deliver
• Work closely with other team leaders to develop overall DevOps delivery and product strategy

Additional Job Description
• 5 15 years of related-experience to reflect skills and talent necessary for this role preferred
• Experience running and maintaining mission-critical online services on Linux.
• Experience in one or more scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Ruby, Python, Go)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and the real-time monitoring and alerting of Tier1 applications
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code deployment methodologies and tools across multiple cloud platforms
• Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills, as well the ability to take decisions when response time is critical
• Strong written and verbal skills, and the ability to collaborate with colleagues from a wide range of job functions
• Creative person with the ability to think outside of the box and design innovative approaches to unique challenges
• Goal oriented with high standards for quality and performance
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
• Must be highly analytical and detailed in planning, execution, and documentation of work
• The ability to handle stressful situations, tight deadlines, and demanding initiatives
• Experience operating in a high uptime service delivery environment
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Experience handling full application stacks from the OS up to custom applications
• Experience deploying and managing resources in a containerized environment, e.g., Kubernetes
• Strong experience with Docker and similar containerization/virtualization technologies
• Knowledge of SumoLogic, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub, Chef
• Proficient with common networking technology (Firewalls, Load Balancers, etc.)
• 5 years or more of experience with Cloud technologies (AWS preferred)
• Knowledge of running and maintaining backend services based on MongoDB, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Redis, Kafka, and RabbitM

UG: B.Sc in Any Specialization, Any Graduate, Diploma in Any Specialization, B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization, BCA in Any Specialization
